Here at Timberline Farm cows are %100 grass fed. Wagyu and Speckle Park are the main two breeds of cows raised here, however, as is apparent in the colourful herd we have many other breeds like Angus, Shorthorn and Hereford, as well. From the time the grass starts growing in the spring until the snow buries the fields in the winter, the cows at Timberline Farm graze in lush tree lined pastures. When winter comes the cows are fed hay in the shelter of the 7,400 square foot barn. The result is full flavoured, tender and nicely marbled beef. The natural lifestyle produces healthy animals and healthy beef. To maximize flavour and tenderness the beef is dry aged for 3 weeks before it is butchered, vacuum packed and frozen.

Grass Fed for a Natural Life

The cows are fed an all grass diet, except for the occasional apple. Cows are ruminants, which means they have a digestive tract evolved to digest pasture plants that are high in cellulose and fiber rather than grains. So grass is what they get, spring, summer, fall and winter. This keeps them happy and healthy and produces delicious beef.
